[:1]I like the idea of a faction that has playing cards as different kinds of soldiers. This faction could have space bending type powers. In particular the monarch could have a growth power that makes the monarch get massive or a shrink spell that turns an experimental unit into a midget reducing it's range, damage and AOE by some percentage.

Jabberwocky and Bandersnatch are both made to be experimental.
Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum could be a massive three legged ogre with two heads. It could be very round and do a bowling ball type attack. The unit name could be Twiddle.
Madhatter would make an interesting looking wizard.
