I'm gonna quickly post a couple of things that I want for the game.
Siege, the devs should beware to not make experimentals too powerful/easily obtained.
Like the war boar for example, in the trailer it takes down the wall in a few seconds. IMHO sieging as castle is way more interesting then having units that takes down the walls like nothing. It should actually be possible to have strong wall that takes time to siege. You should be able to have soldiers on the walls, and you should be able to siege the walls with ladders/towers.
Limited eco. The eco should not be able to go so far as it did in supcom. The epicness of supcom is ruined by the fact that when you start seeing experimentals there's not low tier units left. Powerful and big units are cool because they are more powerful and bigger then other units, if the game is just small units in early game and then all big units in late game, it just isn't as cool.
Having a legendary unit should be something special, and the resources shouldn't just adapt to being able to pump out them like footmen. Say you have economy that runs out after a while, after you built a legendary dragon that might actually have been and investment, and there's no security that you will be able to obtain that much resources again in a long time. Then you might actually have to look after your dragon, and if it dies you might loose.
To me this game is a lot more exiting if you have to obtain new lands as the game progresses, adn not just sit on the same place the entire time. Gold for example, there's no way you can grow gold just out of the ground, so I maybe gold could be limited|||1: They haven't even BEGUN CONSIDERING balance yet, if you mention how the balance of the game is looking in a trailer again, I will throw you off a very tall cliff.
2: It's a well known issue with Supreme Commander that low tier units became ineffective. FA fixed this by miles, any while the T.3 whorestorm came inevitably, it was pushed back very far.
3: It could be very late game in Supreme Commander and seeing an experimental would still make you be forced to respond. I understand where you're going with this, but most of this is common knowledge and already observed facts of cause and effect.|||IsikBala|||No one cares about your opinion noob with less than 10 post. Since you just decided to join in in the middle I suggest you just dont say what YOU want, just ideas. Also the idea of siege varies from people to people.|||woepriest|||woepriest|||woepriest|||What about you can only have one or two exps at a moment so you can't have an army of then.
That would make some chooses you have to do.
If you see he has a castle with many walls you build the war boar, if you see he has many units you build the Statue or the dragon.
And it would be great, if there are archers on the walls.|||woepriest|||In my opinion archers on the walls are a must. it would make walls so much more usefull.
I think there may be a way to have somewhat OP castles like minas tirth but still keeping the game balanced. for one, you could make the ugrades, lets say each level is an upgrade, very expensive and time consuming. also, your castles could give very little recources. so if you would be in a similair situation as in the movie, you would have close to no income at all. that way, having an impenetrable wall is gonna be the only thing keeping you from being completely overrun.|||woepriest
