DRM going to be steam

Well modding is still possible.
Garry's mod uses steam
Fallout 3 has a steam version.
In before spam.|||this time, i'm thankful they've chosen Steam; because they've finally decided to stick with the one darn platform.
I still don't like it, but it's the lesser of two evils.|||Here's hoping Steam can provide support for team matchmaking by the time K&C comes out. It's still far from the perfect RTS matchmaking solution. Maybe someone at Valve will wake up once StarCraft II with Battle.net 2.0 comes out.|||Oh my you mean they didn't choose IMPULSE lol. I wonder why.|||Indiana07|||Yeah pretty much where I was going.|||But Impulse is the last hope against evil DRM that is out to kill everyone's grandma...|||Epiphenomenon|||OrangeKnight|||Impulse offers a lot more from a rights perspective, but the simple fact is that I never have a problem with Steam's restrictions, and their community content is a lot better. While more and more people are getting broadband, Impulse is going to be suffering as nobody cares about having to be online anymore. They need to up their store selection and community features. Steam Overlay is one of the best things ever.|||DeadMG|||Impulse also has the problem that 90% of their catalogue is America-only. Seriously, if you don't live in America all you can buy off Impulse is a few indie games and maybe three big budget titles.
It still affects Steam to some degree (Activision/2k Games titles have a 100%ish markup in Australia) but we still get the vast majority of the titles on the service.|||Xenesis|||Shh, let me enjoy my hyperbole.|||steam? no ty.|||Do people use the search function? So that means I won't be buying this one.
