Strength and cost of Legendary Units

Experimentals in the SupCom franchise came in different flavors. We had the incredible strong Experimentals in SupCom, cheaper and more affordable ones and game enders in FA and 'spammable' ones in SupCom2.
I wonder what you think is the best balance for Über large units. What do you want to see in KnC as Legendary Units? The War Boar and the Dragon, how strong and how expensive should they be compared to normal units.
In my opinion the best solution would be a mix: The smaller Legendary Units should be more affordable and appear in most longer games. I want a Dragon in every 15+ minutes game, probably more than one. On the other hand I want a unit that brings back the awesomeness of the original Galactic Collossus in SupCom1: Slow, expensive, takes long to build but you will sh!t bricks if one slowly stomps out of the fog of war. I still remember the SupCom1 campaign, the GC slowly coming closer. It had 240,000 HP. Even strategic bombers hardly left a scratch in the armor and it would walk through the center of a nuclear detonation.
Now on the down side we will rarely see this unit in normal games but I think that was part of the epicness. You really can't be impressed by a Legendary Unit that happens to appear in every second game - in my opinion.|||I so completly agree with you. I to remeber the epicness of experimentels in the original SC. I don't like having a GC in 15 minutes and then dying in 15 seconds like in SC2.|||IMO option 3 is the clearly besy way to go, but I don't know if the semi big units neccesarily need to be called legendary units, maybe they are just some type of big units.|||Dodanodo|||Kenquinn|||Col. Jessep|||Legendary units should all be really expensive and should always require a change of pants. I do want something like a mini-legendary unit, but I don't want to call it legendary - just make it a regular, albeit, very large unit.|||Yes, I'd like some mixture of both. Very powerful units are fun to build while weaker legendary units are accessible in competitive games.|||Dodanodo|||General_Kozi|||i want world peace|||I live in Canada. I want global warming.

I would like to have multi tier units. The brick from fa was great. It didn't take the investment of a experimental but it did change the game. The first brick gave your army some back bone and some range it didn't have before. But you could still take it down with enough t1's if it was unsupported.|||Epic units could resemble something random that the king or mage would summon or gate into battle for a limited time. Adding a random part as this may add flavor to prevent the same dominant unit being used over and over in every game played.
my 2 cents...|||OnnaWave|||I think I like it how it is in SupCOm2. First experimental units can easily be produced within 10 minutes, however the really strong ones need their time and ressources.
Me thinks, this system would work fine with K&C too|||Col. Jessep
